1. Kettlebell Swings-Many have not even heard of a kettlebell and may be surprised to find that something is

body strength.
The reason is because in order to perform the swings, your entire core, and much of your entire body in
fact, has to contract in order to control the weight as it swings through the air.
In addition, you must activate your hip in order to increase the momentum of the swinging kettlebell…this hip

2. The Squat-Performing squats will certainly make you stronger. The squat engages pretty much your entire
muscular system and is often called “the king of exercises” for its ability to help people gain muscle and
strength.
3. The Deadlift-Similar to the squat in its effectiveness, it is possible for someone to lift even heavier weights
performing deadlifts so it is another incredibly effective strength training exercise.
Adding a combination of squats and deadlifts to any workout routine will dramatically increase the amount of
overall muscle your body uses and therefore often result in huge strength gains.
4. The overhead Snatch-The overheard snatch, while an incredible effective strength training exercise, is also
somewhat difficult to perform. It involves an explosive upward motion to get a way into the air and overhead and
once your arms are extended, you stand up (this is performed with a barbell of course.)
It is best to begin practicing this with no weight, moving to light weight, and then heavy weight over
time for the best and safest results.
5. The benchpress-The bench press is another time tested and proven strength training exercise. This one not only
increases strength in your chest, but also your shoulders, triceps, and forearms as well.
In addition, by using dumbbells instead of barbells, you can work your smaller stabilizing muscles in your
shoulders more effectively to increase your strength even further.
