If you watch many of the frequent gym goers, you might think that you have to spend hours focusing on each
individual body part, but in reality, that is not even necessary.
The fact is, if you want to build muscle fast, you really only need to do a FEW exercises to really
maximize your muscle growth. This is contrary to what you may believe or have even done, but read on to find out

Ok, so let’s look at the approach many people take in the gym. They choose a body part and get to work. Let’s say
it’s the arms (as it is one that many people spend the most time developing.)
Now, you can do curls all day long and you WILL eventually build some nice looking biceps…but, what else? The
answer is not much else. Curls work your biceps and maybe your forearms a bit, but not much else.
What about the rest of your body? Well, there are specific exercises for your triceps, your forearms, your
quads, your calves, your shoulders (all three muscle groups in your shoulders) and so on and so on.
Splitting up your workout to focus on these parts individually means hours in the gym and several days before
you even hit your entire body.
Once you hit all your muscle groups, you start over again. Well, this method works great for someone who
is already quite muscular. This allows them to focus on perfect each individual muscle group to its fullest
potential, but, unless you are training for a bodybuilding contest, this approach will not be as effective for
you.
What you need is a way to build muscle fast using the least exercises possible.
In order to do this, you need to only perform exercises that will many muscles at one time. These are called
COMPOUND EXERCISES. Rather than just working one muscle group, they work many. Here are a few examples including
the exercises and what muscles they work:
• Squats-Entire lower body and much of the upper body (called the KING of all exercises, the squat should be the
foundation of your muscle building plan)
• Bench presses-Bench presses work much of the upper body including all of your chest, triceps, and the front
deltoids.
• Pull-ups-Pull-ups are awesome as they help to build and tone muscles in your back and are incredibly effective at
building biceps and shoulder muscles as well.
So, looking at the list above, you can build muscle fast just by performing three exercises every other day and
take a day of rest in between. A plan such as this is easy to follow AND will produce awesome results.
Resist the temptation to start focusing on individual muscle groups until you have built the amount of
muscle you desire. Once you do that, then and only then should you focus on such specialization routines. Follow
this advice consistently and you will build muscle fast and develop the body you have always wanted!
